Note-III: Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in the ‘Acquaint Yourself’ booklet, which will be made available to the eligible candidates along with the call letter for the test.
Test of knowledge of official and/or local language: Those who produce 10th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied official (local) language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others, language test will be conducted at the time of interview (if interview is held)/ before final selection (if interview is not held).
Candidates not found to be proficient in official and/or local language would be disqualified.
State Bank of India hires Indian Citizens for appointment in Clerical Cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates to gain eligibility to apply for Clerical post must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria.
Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 20 years and 28 years as on 01-04-2016. Candidates born between 02-04-1988 and 01-04-1996 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Age relaxations will be extended as per govt rules.

For Junior Associate: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
For Junior Agricultural Associate: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/ Institute.
Note:Those who are in the final year of Graduation/ Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination

General Awareness This section may consist of questions on basic Knowledge of the following topics :
General Awareness section of Banking exams consists of almost 90% questions from current events Hence the candidates are advised to make a proper study of National Newspapers Magazines and prepare News Capsules In addition to it the candidates must read magazines namely Pratiyogita Kiran, Renu General Knowledge & World Vision , Pappu Current News & Current Questions to make this section enriched.
General English The questions in this section may be asked from the following topics :
